Configuration Tips & Best Practices

Start Conservative

Begin with default values. Adjust cooldowns and rewards based on community feedback and activity levels.

Balance Risk vs Reward

Crime success rates should be significantly lower than legitimate activities to maintain challenge.

Avoid Inflation

If economy becomes too abundant, consider reducing daily/weekly rewards or increasing prices in shop.

Test Before Deploying

Test significant changes in a test server before applying to production. Economy changes affect all members.

Monitor Activity

Use the dashboard analytics to monitor economy health. Check for inflation, unused features, etc.

Communicate Changes

Announce cooldown or reward changes to your community. Help members understand the reasoning.

Common Configuration Scenarios

New Server (Encouraging Participation)

↓ Lower cooldowns, ↑ Higher rewards to encourage early engagement

Mature Server (Balanced Economy)

Standard cooldowns and rewards, focus on shop items for wealth sinks

High-Activity Server (Preventing Inflation)

↑ Cooldowns, ↓ Rewards, expensive shop items to control coin supply

Hardcore PvP Server (Crime-Focused)

↑ Crime/robbery success rates, low bail costs, high risk/reward activities
